$19 a month, or $190 a year, locked to your account for as long as you run a solo practice. Not a first month, not a first year. Once the thirty are claimed, everyone after pays $29.
The one thing that ends it is a second doula. Adding a seat moves you to Collective pricing, $50 a month for two, and the founding rate does not come back if you remove that seat later. You keep the founding member badge either way, so the second seat is worth taking deliberately rather than to try something out.

FAQ
Short answer: no, and for most doulas, that's not the question that matters.
HIPAA applies to "covered entities": health plans, healthcare clearinghouses, and healthcare providers who bill insurance electronically. Most doulas in private practice aren't covered entities, because they're paid directly by their clients rather than billing insurance. If that's you, HIPAA likely doesn't apply to your practice at all.
What matters more is whether your clients' information is protected. It is, and you can read exactly how just below.
Where this does matter: if you bill Medicaid or insurance for your services, or you work somewhere whose systems already fall under HIPAA, then DoulaFlow isn't the right fit for that work. You'd need a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with any software holding your clients' health information, and DoulaFlow doesn't offer a BAA and isn't HIPAA compliant. We'd rather you know that up front than find out later.

Every practice's data is completely isolated from every other practice's, enforced at the database level, not just in the app. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is controlled per practice, and we never sell your data or your clients' data to anyone. Ever.
Your clients' information belongs to you and your clients. We just keep it safe and organized.
No. Your practice is yours alone. Another doula using DoulaFlow cannot see your clients, your notes, your documents, or anything else in your practice. That isolation is enforced by the database itself, on every single request.
If you bring other doulas into your practice, you stay in control. As the account owner you decide who's on the team, which clients each doula is assigned, and who has admin access. Beyond your own practice, no other doula on DoulaFlow can see anything of yours.
Your data is always yours. If you ever decide to cancel and you want a copy of everything to take with you, just email us and we'll get it to you: your clients, your documents, and your birth records.
No hoops, no hostage-taking. We're never going to lock up your practice's history to get you to pay. That's not how we want to earn your business.
Those are real, and the price is honest. The cheap doula tools generally cap something, most often how many clients you can hold, and that number rises as your practice grows. The bigger business platforms go the other way: they start at about the same monthly price as DoulaFlow and climb from there, hold features behind higher tiers, and limit how many people can log in.
DoulaFlow doesn't cap clients. Twenty-five cost what five cost, and you pay for doula seats and nothing else. We're also not in your payment path: you connect your own account, your client pays you directly, and we never add a percentage because we never touch the money.
There is one limit, fifty e-signature sends a year per seat, and it exists because each one costs us around seventy cents to send and we absorb it rather than billing it to you. What you pay also isn't only for you: every client gets her own portal and never pays us anything.

DoulaFlow never touches your money. Connect your own PayPal account, and every invoice you send gets a Pay button, right in the invoice PDF and in your client's portal. She taps it, and the money goes straight to you, in your account, with no percentage going anywhere. Your rates are yours and your income is yours.
Prefer to get paid the way you already do? That works too. DoulaFlow will still create and track your invoices; how you collect is entirely up to you.

Yes. Export a CSV from your spreadsheet or whatever tool you use now, upload it, and match your columns to DoulaFlow's. Your existing clients come across with their details, so you are not retyping a book you already have.
One caveat worth knowing: not every tool records the date a payment landed, so when an export does not carry one we show that date as approximate rather than guess at it.
If you are moving from another doula platform, export everything it will give you rather than the shorter client list, since a partial export leaves data behind that no importer can tell you about. Stuck on a file? Send it to us and we will look at it with you.

The account owner is the admin: you assign clients to the doulas on your team, control what each person can see, and can grant admin rights to others when you want the help. Everyone works in the same collective, with shared records, and each doula keeps her own services, prices and invoice numbering.
