Doula Software for Solo Doulas | DoulaFlow
For solo doulas

You are the whole practice. This runs the rest of it.

No staff, no assistant, no one to hand the paperwork to. DoulaFlow holds the clients, the calendar, the contracts and the money, so the admin stops living in your head between births.

14 days free. No card needed. Cancel anytime.

Who covers the office work when you are the office?

Every hour on invoices, forms and reminders is an hour you are not with a family or asleep. It is also the first thing to slip in a month with three births.

Your day

One list, in the right order

Open DoulaFlow and see what is actually open, ranked. A birth that is close comes before an unsigned contract. When the list is clear, your day is done.

  • Clients by birth stage, not a sales pipeline.
  • Due dates on your calendar without typing them in.
  • On call at the week you choose, handled for you.

Your evenings

She gets a portal. You get your phone back.

Every client gets her own portal for appointments, documents, invoices and a week-by-week view, plus one message thread. You hand out your cell when you go on call, not at signing.

  • Her questions land in DoulaFlow, not your family's phone.
  • A backup packet for the doula covering you, even if she is not in your practice.

Getting paid

The asking is not your job

Set the balance due at 36 weeks, or a number of days after you create the invoice. One reminder goes out when it falls due, with your own PayPal or Venmo button on it.

  • No cut, ever. The money goes straight to you.
  • Contracts signed online. 50 e-signatures a year, included.
  • Unlimited clients. A busy year never costs more.

Your numbers

What a year of this actually looks like

Births attended, average labor length, hours you spent at births, what you collected and what is still owed. The record of the work, and the numbers behind your next rate.

  • Yours alone. Nobody else is in your account.

Common questions

Do I pay more as I take on more clients?

No. Every plan includes unlimited clients. You pay for doula seats, meaning people who log in, and a solo practice is one seat.

What happens when another doula covers my birth?

Set her as the backup on that client and send one packet. It holds the client's details, her appointments, the documents you choose and a form to record the birth. Your backup needs no account and does not take a seat.

What if I add a second doula later?

Adding a seat moves you to collective pricing, $50 a month for two doulas. If you are a founding member, that rate ends when you add the seat, so take the second seat deliberately.

Can I bring clients from my spreadsheet?

Yes. Import clients from a CSV, including their birth records, then import past invoices. DoulaFlow has built-in guidance for eDoula exports.

Is there a contract or a setup fee?

Neither. Month to month, or annual if you want two months free, and you can cancel any time.
