Message a client

The Messages page is a two-panel chat: your client conversations on the left, the selected thread on the right.

1. Pick a client from the list on the left.
2. Type your message in the box at the bottom of the thread and send — it arrives in real time.

A client's portal shows the same conversation, so they can reply from their side. Unread messages show a badge on Messages in the sidebar, and clients are emailed about new messages (unless notifications are turned off — see Notification preferences).
