Use the ✕ on a Home reminder to say "I already handled that" — and what happens when it comes back.
Some things on Home you take care of outside DoulaFlow — you called instead of messaging, or the client already sent you her form by text. When that happens you can clear the reminder so it stops asking.
Not every row has an ✕ — that's deliberate. Rows under Birth is close and Needs you have no ✕ at all. It isn't hidden or greyed out; it simply isn't there.
Those two groups are where a missed item actually costs something — a client past her due date with no birth recorded, or a labor that hasn't been closed out. A reminder like that should never be something you can wave away by accident, so DoulaFlow doesn't offer the option. Rows under This week and Recently done can always be cleared.
Clearing is "not now", not "never". What you clear is that one reminder for that one client — never the whole kind of reminder. Everything else on that client, and the same kind of reminder on everyone else, is untouched.
It comes back on its own when the situation changes. DoulaFlow remembers what was true at the moment you cleared it, and if that changes the reminder returns. Clear an overdue-invoice reminder because the client promised to pay, and it stays gone — but if a later invoice of hers goes past due, you'll hear about it again. The same holds for an intake form: if its situation changes, the reminder comes back rather than staying silent forever.
There is no undo button. Once a row is cleared there's no control to bring it back by hand — which is exactly why DoulaFlow returns it by itself whenever the underlying facts move. Nothing is lost either way: the client, the invoice, and the form are all still there on the client's own page.
What you clear affects only your own Home screen. If someone else in your practice works with the same client, their Home is unchanged.
